Terms & Conditions
The Lesedi-Boombox Studio Training Programme (“the Programme”) is a Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative by Boombox Media in partnership with the Lesedi Local Municipality (“the Organizers”). It aims to provide selected individuals with accredited training in music production, sound engineering, and related creative media skills.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be permanently resident within the geographical area of the Lesedi Local Municipality.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have a minimum of a Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Demonstrate passion for creative arts.
- Not be enrolled in full-time employment or studies.
Applications via official portal only. Deadline: 03 February 2026. Required: ID, Proof of Residence, Motivational Letter.
Competitive process based on merit. Decisions by the panel are final.
Attend 100% of sessions, adhere to code of conduct, treat equipment with care.
IP created during the programme is owned by the participant; Organizers granted license for promotional use.
Personal info used solely for administration in compliance with POPIA.
Indemnity & Code of Conduct
Voluntary Participation: Participation in training sessions, field recordings, and studio visits is entirely voluntary.
Assumption of Risk: Participants accept inherent risks involved with technical equipment and field work.
Release: Participants release and hold harmless the Organisers from liability for injury, loss, or damage, unless caused by gross negligence.
Consent: Organisers may use participant likeness/voice for promotional/educational purposes.
Ownership: Final edited products (podcasts, broadcasts) are joint IP. Participants retain rights to use content for personal portfolios.
- Treat all participants/staff with respect and dignity.
- Use equipment responsibly; report damage immediately.
- Adhere to safety instructions.
- No illegal activities or defamatory content.
- Maintain confidentiality where required.
Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the Programme.
